Noah Baumbach
Nueva York, 1969. Estudió en el Vassar College, Nueva York. En 1995 debutó como director con Kicking and Screaming. Con su película The Squid and the Whale (Una historia de Brooklyn) estuvo nominado al Oscar al Mejor Guión. Ha colaborado con el director Wes Anderson en los guiones de sus películas The Life Aquatic y Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Frances is 27 and lives with her best friend Sophie in New York. She is busy reinventing her career as a dancer. Again. And again. Although it’s been a while since she graduated, a fully functioning professional life still seems like a distant dream. Even though her job search ends in one disappointment after another, she’s fairly content with her life with Sophie even though they’re a bit like an old married couple. But then Sophie without warning moves into her dream flat in Tribeca with another girlfriend and Frances suddenly finds herself out on the street. This modern fable explores youth, friendship, class, ambition, failure and redemption.

Noah Baumbach
New York, 1969. He studied at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and made his directorial debut in 1995 with the college drama Kicking and Screaming. He has collaborated a number of times as screenwriter with director Wes Anderson and was nominated for an Oscar for the screenplay of his own film The Squid and the Whale in 2006.
